Welcome to Minniribbie Farm
At Minniribbie Farm, we are committed to raising high quality, ethically farmed Yabbies, Marron, free range beef and free range pork for our customers. We are a family owned and operated business, located on the pristine shores of Kellidie Bay, just north of Coffin Bay on Eyre Peninsula, South Australia.
The Minniribbie creek, meandering through our property, has allowed us to set up and maintain the water channels for our Yabbies and Marron. On land, we farm free range Murray Grey cattle and two breeds of pigs, the Tamworth and Noble Berkshire.
To produce high quality consumables, we take great care of our land. We farm it sustainably, respectfully and ethically so that it is not impoverished for tomorrow’s generation. We aim to be totally free of chemicals, and continually strive for natural alternatives. The animals’ health and wellbeing, however, are our first duty of care.
Our products are prepared and processed to required Australian standards. Our premises have been built to the standards of the Department of Primary Industries and Resources of South Australia, and have been inspected and approved by that department.
Our priority is to support conservation breeding techniques, and to ensure the ethical and humane treatment of animals in order to raise genuine free range, slow growing beasts naturally.
